This week has been crazy!
We were tracting and all of the sudden 2 sets of Jdubs start tracting around us, and I’m like man….this is crazy, and then before we know it THERES MORE! and They come RIGHT BY US! knock and walk in…..I was like….wait they can’t go into a single womans house…then I realized they aren’t us hhaha. Then as we start to walk away, we see the mother ship. The mormon assault van FULL of Jdubs.
The Lord gives us strength the fight the world each day, he gives us the stamina and endurance we need to carry the heavy cross each day. It’s hard, but’s worth it. This week is was sunny almost every day and I actually got a tan line….#akward
But something cool that happened….oh yeah, EVA IS GETTING BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY!
yay! We are so excited…..we always thought Eva was less active until we realized….the church doesn’t even have a single record of her ever. When I asked her about her baptism all she said was….” it was a beautiful morning…so beautiful….”
We saw a lot of miracles, we saw a lot of progress. Right when we think people are progressing they fall and I’m just like….satan is a terd and I wanna hammer punch him. But I guess I hammer punch him with every testimony, every morning I literally roll out of bed and everytime I pray.
We actually made standards this week! Each mission has standards for number and sometimes they are hard to get, and even we had a discouraging week we met standards and that was exciting! Only 6 companionships made them and we were one of them YAY!
I’m celebrating by buying chocolate today. judge me.
well, I love you a lot!
Happy P-day! 🙂
This week was a bitter/sweet week.
My new companion is Hermana Makail Bain, we were companions in Lake Stevens and we were friends before the mission so we know each other pretty good, so its been a week of bliss 🙂
We are merging 2 areas into 1 area so it’s a lot of work but I’m loving it! HAPPY LATE MOTHERS DAY!
It was awesome to see and talk to you guys and to hear your voices! 🙂 But I am truly devastated and so sad about my sweet girl trigger 😦 I’m going to miss her a lot, and it makes me sad. But while I was praying last night, I knew and felt that all would be okay, in time. So I really hope that, that is the case and that everything will work out.
This week with hermana Bain has been so blissful and full of work and….I’m grateful for her. I’m grateful I made it through the past 6 weeks. We gutted out the house and re-arragned it, we are doing language studies with a college professor and we are working hard to bring people to the gospel in every way possible. The Lord loves us and he lives, and he is the reason we do this everyday.
I love him, and I love this gospel. 🙂
Untill next week 🙂
Saying goodbye to my bff Hermana Brunsdale,
Pretty rain puddle and….this sign that i see 100,000 times a day hahaha
NEW TRANSFER AND NEW NEWS!
I AM STAYING IN MT VERNON and Hermana Miller is being transferred!:)
Wheeeewww…..I honestly don’t know how I made it through these past 6 weeks. This week was SO hard and I don’t think I have ever cried so much on my mission, and I don’t cry usually.
Hermana Miller had some major breakdowns and one of then resulted me trying to find her in the apt and I couldn’t find her, then I hear some weird noise in the closest and I open the closet door and she was curled up crying. I couldn’t do it. After 5 1/2 wks and this everyday I couldn’t do it again.
I just want to work, I just want to talk, I just want to find. I know that this transfer was obviously not about the numbers, but about the patience and humility and love….which I learned a lot about, but now I am ready to get back up on my feet and work.
Funny story this week, Brunsdale and I were on exchagnes teaching this woman named Elvida, her son is older and a little a lot creepy, he looks at us and says ” I want to be your friends….” and we were like…ok? Then later on he says…”do you guys have like an extra room in your house..i’m looking for a place and you guys are pretty cool…” In my mind I was thinking….oh no…this is bad…then we say that we have 4 people and we each 2 in each room…then he says ” oh no no, I can sleep in the living room, on the couch. I can just watch cartoons I don’t even need cable….I mean I like rap, but not bad rap, and good music not like creepy or romantic music…You don’t have any friends and neither do I, so we should team up…” I was like….oh my goodness, we gotta go.
But, This week. There are always hidden blessings. Now that my trial is coming to an end. I only hope I stronger and better.
Here are some pictures!
The old woman is Eva…we re-aligned the areas and she’s not in our area anymore 😦
